Vision Statement
We are a thriving car club composed of seventy some young, senior and middle-aged folks who enjoy and share our mutual love of collecting, repairing, driving and sharing our rides. We do this while embracing the idea that we enjoy “fun and fellowship” as an integral part of our hobby. We are a region of AACA the national organization, to whom our members belong. To embrace the “fun and fellowship” aspect of our hobby, we typically have at least one weekend event during the months of March thru October where we caravan to a local destination of mutual interest. We typically have an afternoon lunch together at local eateries. You’ll find rides ranging from a 1907 Cadillac to a Rivian. Member vehicles are as petite as a post-World War II Crosley with others as sizeable as a 1929 Packard touring car. All participate in the monthly outings. We are a non-profit organization and give back to our local community with proceeds from our legendary Allandale Show, now in its 48th year on the 3rd Sunday each September. We host two free shows: in May at “The Blake” senior living community in Kingsport and in July at the “FunFest” Car Show in downtown Kingsport, at the old Clinchfield Rail Station. We partner with our Colonial Heights Sonic Drive friends in Colonial Heights, during June-September as we hold a Cruise-ln at 6:00PM the last Friday of the month. We welcome all visitors as we meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the well-known Zachary’s Steakhouse in Colonial Heights at 6pm. We enjoy a delicious dinner, have a brief business meeting and enjoy an informative and interesting presentation devoted to our hobby. Come check us out!
